The Startup Go To Market desk
A small editorial team that writes about how AI products reach their first users, and why that so often happens on X.
Startup Go To Market is a free library. It exists because most writing about go to market strategy was built for a slower era of software: long sales cycles, analyst reports and trade shows. AI products are launched differently. They are announced in public, judged in public within hours, and the conversation that decides their first months mostly happens on X.
How the case files are made
Each case file is compiled from public material: company announcements, posts from founders and company accounts, and reporting by established publications. Sources are listed at the foot of every case file. Dates are given to the month. Where a detail could not be confirmed, it is left out rather than estimated.
Analysis is labelled as analysis. When the library uses an illustration rather than a real company, it says so, and the worked sample is a fictional company from start to finish.
What the library will not do
- Publish invented statistics, quotes or customer stories.
- Take payment for coverage. No company in the case files paid to appear.
- Charge for templates or guides. Everything here is free to read and reuse.
Who runs it
The library is run by a team that plans and runs AI product launches on X. That is the one commercial thing on the site: if you want help taking your own product to market on X, the GTM review is how to reach us. The editorial pages are written to be useful whether or not you ever do.
Corrections
If something in a case file is wrong, send the correction and a source through the review form. Corrections are made promptly and the page date is updated.
Go to market on X with us
The library is free. When it is time to launch, we plan and run AI product launches on X: positioning the announcement, lining up the right voices and turning launch day attention into users.
